Spring Festival Wines
NatCool Branco, Pet Nat, Portugal
Nat Cool is naturally “cool and funky”. It represents an innovative concept initiated by Niepoort, in which various producers came together to create light, easy-to-drink wines. In the Vinho Verde region, we produced a wine typical of the region – a wine which references the “cloudy” wines of the past which were bottled with some residual sugar and fine lees, and therefore re-fermented in the bottle.
Digby Fine English Fizz
Vibrant yet understated, this fizz is in its element at home on a Tuesday evening or at a party celebrating one of life’s big moments. An engaging expression of Digby’s house style, it stems from England’s most luscious Pinot Noir with rich, aged Chardonnay and plummy Pinot Meunier.
Laibach, Sur Lie, Chenin Blanc
This wine is made from the oldest vineyard on the farm. No additives were used and fermentation was done 50% in old barrels, 25% in concrete eggs and 25% in stainless steel. The resulting wine is a refreshing colour with an orangey tint. A very exotic nose with tropical, papaya and white peach in abundance. On the palate a lovely mineral character combines with the ripe tropical and stone fruits, very long with a fresh acidity.
Folklore Blanco, Uruguay
The Trebbiano and Malvasia clusters are destemmed and pressed separately. They then carry out alcoholic fermentation with native yeast in stainless steel tanks for 6 months for natural clarification. It is bottled unfiltered with minimal handling to preserve all its freshness.
Adaras Lluvia, Sauvignon/Verdejo, Spain
An organic Spanish white wine from the Almansa region using grapes from the high altitude Venta la Vega vineyards 850m above sea level. Clean and bright with a harmonious balance of the grapes, it shows aromas of tropical fruit and subtle notes of pear fruits.The palate brings balanced complexity and an intense, long, fresh finish.

Vina El Pago, Rioja Blanco, Spain
A white wine with prevailing white fruit aroma, with good volume on the palate, and an acidity and saltiness that make it irresistible.
This is a white wine produced in the Rioja Alavesa by Azpillaga Urarte in Lanciego, Alava. Azpillaga Urarte is a family-run winery that has regenerated itself. In 1989 they rebuilt the family winery located in Lanciego.
Regis Boucabeille, Terrases Blanc, France
Les Terrasses Régis is a white that punches well above its weight. A Côtes du Roussillon blend of Grenache Blanc and Macabeo. It sees no oak barrels leaving it crisp with aromas of lily, pine nuts, bitter almonds, zingy citrus, cut grass and exotic melon. Well chilled and fresh, it’s a perfect summer wine and exceedingly good value.
Vicoletto Cataratto, Sicily, Italy
This ‘Orange’ wine is bright yet slightly cloudy in colour thanks to the natural approach to winemaking; with no stabilisation, fining or filtration resulting in a wine with very low sulphur levels. The bouquet is a beautiful mix of citrus, grapefruit, apple and white flesh fruits that follows onto the palate. Complemented by Mediterranean herbs and a backbone of fresh acidity.
Reserve de Gassac Rose, France
This delightful, unassuming rosé is a blend of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan. If you think of Provençal rosés you're on the right lines. It has delicious fresh strawberry, cherry and redcurrant flavours and is, above all, brilliantly easy drinking and at the price a real snip.
Celler de Capcanes, Garnacha, Spain
This brings a wine of intense golden appearance with amber reflections. The nose is reminiscent of ripe peach, apricot and floral notes, whilst the medium to full palate displays the textural appeal of the variety, orchard fruit characters, fine tannic structure and perfectly poised acidity. Incredibly versatile, try chilled with charcuterie, cured or strong cheeses, or any lightly spiced Asian dishes.

Folklore Tinto, Uruguay
A blend of Tannat and Petit Manseng that is as low intervention as possible. The Tannat is de-stemmed and then macerates with the Petit Manseng skins. Natural fermentation occurs in stainless steel, and transferred to used oak for several months' aging. This is a fresh, dry, medium-bodied red wine with black fruit and spice aromas.
Cremal Recas, Solara Red, Romania
This natural wine is packed full of bramble fruit notes with raspberry and blackberry dominating the aroma. The palate is smooth and juicy with complex notes of blueberry, strawberry, bubblegum and ripe red cherry flavours. Refreshing acidity and smooth tannins on the finish. Try serving on its own chilled or with with T- Bone steak, red meats and hard cheeses.
Isabel Estate, Pinot Noir, New Zealand
A captivating ruby red in colour matches an aromatic nose that unveils itself with layers of wild flowers, perfumed violets and red cherry notes. Concentrated flavours of black cherry, Kalamata olive and dried herb intertwine with sinewy tannins and judiciously selected French oak to create a long, memorable finish. Attractive in its youth with fruit purity, it will make an equally great sleeper with bottle age developing extra complexity.
Icon, Bobal, Spain
An organic wine made with the selection of Vega Tolosa's best Bobal grapes from their old vineyards housing vines over 80 years old, located in the transition zone to Cabriel Valley's UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Aged for 6 months in French oak barrels, Bobal Icon is intense ruby in ​​colour, with aromas of plum, cherry jam, spicy herbs and minerals. On the palate it is soft and broad, with a gentle acidity and aftertaste of bitter cherry, plum and blackcurrant jam.
Picaron Tattarrattat, Merlot, Bordeaux
100% merlot grapes from their vineyard located in Sainte Colombe in Bordeaux, France. It is a 2020 vintage and recommended serving it slightly chilled. Expect juicy fresh red fruits, sour cherry and crunchy red apple, with a light natural fizz. Fermented and preserved naturally under carbonic gas
